VLADIMIR TARASOV- LEONID TISHKOV- VADIM ZAKHAROV
curated by
Vitalij Patsukov
For the fifteenth edition of Camere – Artsound – the spaces at RAM are transformed into an apartment in Moscow, one of those communal apartments saturated by things and sounds, the dimensions of which disciplined by voices, compressing and expanding, flowing together into empty or dense spaces. The Artsound project lays the image bare and manipulates sound, each conserving their natural connection casually within an open space.
Three are the artists invited, all representatives of the new Russian integrated culture: Vladimir Tarasov, Leonid Tishkov and Vadim Zakharov.
The art of Vladimir Tarasov, legendary jazz drummer, is a sort of adhesive which inserts and assembles all the possible phenomena of contemporary culture. The studies of Leonid Tishkov are aimed at daily events that repeat throughout a man’s life: starting with ordinary objective reality, he transforms it into magic and ritual. The work of Vadim Zakharov combines creative and reflective principals, extricating itself with ease through the use of objects, installations, video productions and performance.
Simultaneously, at the Auditorium Arte in the Parco della Musica, the Musica per Roma Foundation presents works relative to the Soviet avant-garde (Progetto Generazione Z) and to the N.Y.Group (Nadya&Yuriy), as well as works by the artists Vladimir Tarasov and Vadim Zakharov.
The exhibition at the Auditorium will open on June 28th at 19.00 and will remain open until July 13th.
