Biblioteca Ambrosiana

Each book in the collection brings together a musician, a writer and a painter on a common theme.

The authors of the books, leading figures of the Italian intelligentia representing painting, music and literature, have personally participated in their volumes making them, therefore, unique exemplars. The volumes have been made using production techniques that recall the great tradition of artistic books.
This evocation of tradition is underlined by the hand-written interventions that the authors have made upon their manuscripts and harmonically embraces the use of new technology (websites, pen drives for listening to music).
The editors have already established, within the year 2011, further donations to the M. I. Rudomino Library for Foreign Literature in Moscow and the La Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
